Institutional Membership

Available to institutions of higher learning, to include: the California Community Colleges; the California State Universities; the University of California, and all private colleges and universities within the State of California. The person responsible for campus safety shall be the designated contact for the institution.

Associate Membership

Available to any person who supports the goals and objectives of the association.  Associate Members may attend all regular meetings and participate in all association functions, but are not entitled to vote or hold office.

Corporate Membership

Available to interested campus safety business partners. Corporate members may access the CCUPCA member pages, including the membership directory but are not entitled to vote or hold office. Corporate members may place their companies name, logo and a brief description of the goods and/or services provided on the web page.

Benefits of Membership

• CCUPCA is an advocate for creating and maintaining campuses that are safe and secure.

• CCUPCA is a forum for the exchange of professional information through the newsletter, "The Briefing Board" and the e-mail listserv.

• CCUPCA sponsors conferences and training classes, which address the specific needs of higher educational law-enforcement.

• CCUPCA is a resource on campus safety issues for the various governing bodies of public and private educational institutions.

• CCUPCA sponsors legislation, which enhances campus safety in higher education.

• CCUPCA monitors and acts upon legislation, which may affect higher educational campus safety.

• CCUPCA provides networking opportunities with other law enforcement and security organizations.

• CCUPCA recognizes excellence in the campus safety profession by celebrating success through the awards program.
